April 1, 2018The students of Mangement have much to learn beyond their books. This is the philosophy followed by our department and many initiatives are regularly taken in which the intellect of the students is challenged and their managerial capabilities developed.
The Mangement Festival of 2017 was an explosion of expression and talent. The fest was divided into two days with two specific agendas. The first day was programmed to ignite the minds of students. A multitude of literary competitions and management games made the first-day challenge to the brain and tested the mental prowess of the students and faculty members. No one was spared the assault of the game masters.
The primary planning was done by the teachers. Thereafter teams were made and they were sworn to secrecy lest someone got a whiff of the events.
The events included situational challenges, quiz, logo and personality mash ups, PPT contest, The Joust, a group discussion with a political twist and many more. The organizers made sure that the participants and audience were mentally exhausted on the first day.
The second day gave the students to showcase their talents along with fun contests and games. We had breath-taking dance performances, melodious song recitals, poetry, and mimicry. Games like Pictionary and a selfie contest was a hit with all students.
This emerged as a live learning tool for students as well as all faculty members. As any event brings with it multiple challenges in planning, organizing, execution, and conclusion, the festival also had its own set of tasks to integrate. However, the objective of the event was well met as students enjoyed while they honed their managerial skills and talents.
